Do you produce high-yielding soybeans in South Carolina? Here's your chance to be recognized! 

 

The Palmetto Soybean Yield Contest celebrates top growers, gathers valuable data on successful practices, and shares that knowledge to benefit farmers across the state.​

 

The contest will open in late 2026. Congratulations to our 2025 winners:

1st Place: Cade Baughman - 96.19 bu/ac, Gateway 479XFS

Irrigated:

1st Place: Connelly Farms - 75.84 bu/ac, AG 545XFO

2nd Place: Calvin Young & Son Farm - 66.92 bu/ac, AG 545XFO

Dryland:

1st Place: McDaniel Farms - 70.03 bu/ac, NKS 48-H3XFS

The National Corn Yield Contest in sponsored and managed by the National Corn Growers Association.

  • Please note that the South Carolina Corn and Soybean Association does not directly accept corn yield contest applications.

  • Applications must be submitted to NCGA.
