William “Bill” Beam serves as Administrator of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA), a position he has held since March 2025. In this role, he oversees programs supporting farmers, ranchers and private lands foresters through farm programs, disaster assistance, conservation and access to credit. A fourth-generation Pennsylvania farmer, Beam previously served as FSA Deputy Administrator for Farm Programs and held leadership roles with the United Soybean Board and U.S. Soybean Export Council. Before returning to USDA, he owned and operated Beam Farms, a diversified agricultural operation in Elverson, Pennsylvania.

Matt is a Senior Atmospheric Scientist for Nutrien Ag Solutions, where he
develops predictive software solutions and forecasts to manage weather and
climate risk in production agriculture. He presents to conferences annually where he provides guidance to weather-sensitive growers, commodity brokers, and other
stakeholders. He holds the Certified Consulting Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society.

Dr. Shockley is an Extension Ag Economist in the University of Kentucky’s Department of Agricultural Economics. Originally from rural Maryland, he grew up working on grain and livestock operations before earning his master’s and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. He previously served as an Agricultural Economist for BP Biofuels North America, focusing on farm strategy, feedstock logistics and agricultural operations in the U.S. and Brazil.
