About the Checkoff
The South Carolina Corn Board (SCCB) is a farmer-led organization funded by your corn checkoff dollars—a mandatory 0.5% assessment on every bushel sold. The checkoff invests these funds into vital research, promotion, and education initiatives. The checkoff's mission is to boost demand, improve yields, and ultimately increase farmer's profitability, ensuring a strong future for South Carolina's corn industry.
