Yield Contests

Palmetto Soybean Yield Contest

Do you produce high-yielding soybeans in South Carolina? Here's your chance to be recognized!

The Palmetto Soybean Yield Contest celebrates top growers, gathers valuable data on successful practices, and shares that knowledge to benefit farmers across the state.

First place winners will receive $500 cash and a set of soybean-oil-based Goodyear tires.

If you cultivate 10 or more contiguous acres of soybeans in South Carolina, you're eligible! There are no restrictions on your cultural or management practices, just make sure your entry covers a minimum of 3 contiguous acres and is verified by a County Extension Agent.

Entries are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Members of the SC Corn & Soybean Association can enter for free, and non-members have the option of a discounted membership with their entry or can submit a $60 entry fee
